Today is the BIG DAY!!!

Today Colton will start the process of "Potty Training"!!! I am so excited! Dianne got the splashguard protector in the mail yesterday, so today they will start. So, last night, we went to Walmart and got a "big boy potty" and I put it together, with Colton's help, last night. He sensed my excitement and became excited! It's so cute. My mom is a bit skeptical. She thinks it's a little too early. Well, it can be done, and as long as he seems interested in it, and is showing plenty of signs, I think he is ready. My dad thinks he is ready, and Dianne definitely thinks he is ready! I told my mom, "Mom, I need to take advantage of Dianne's help with this. I want him to be potty trained by the time the summer gets here, because she will be watching two more kids part-time. And I want all of her attention on him during this. Yes, it will be messy, and at times annoying, but oh well. In the long run, it will be much better!" She just smiled and joked "don't take advantage of her!"

So, I can't wait till 5:00 gets here and we find out how the day went. She has a great plan. I never put much thought into it. I am definitely lucky and blessed to have her!

Well, I hope all of you have a great day. Please keep us in your prayers as we start this grand adventure! Oh, and in case you are wondering why I typed in yellow...just put a little more thought into the contents of today's blog. I think you will get it!!!! ;)

  1. Yellow may seem appropriate for some reasons, but it is too difficult to read. Maybe you wanted everyone to work as hard at reading this as you and Dianne will be working with Colton! Ha!
Amber is not one of my favorite colors anyway. But in this case, I guess it is better seen than smelled! Hee! Hee!
    Love, Mama

  2. Gross deb!! Well good luck in your new adventure. I hope it goes smoothly and everything comes out ok ;)

  3. Pee pee go down the hole! Poo poo go down the hole! :) I can't wait to see that little munchkin pop a squat! He is such a smart little boy! See you soon!
